During 2009, MISS LIS completed over 48,000 miles (well exceeding the earth’s circumference at the Equator!) delivering dredging equipment within North and Central America. These tows were performed without incident and adhering closely to original ETAs throughout. Projects included a double scow tow from Progreso to Cristobal and a bucket dredger from Coatzacoalcos to Mazatlan, Mexico.
Sample ocean tows performed in 2008:
-towed a 360' x 60' tank barge from St. Eustatius, Netherlands Antilles to Tampa
-towed a 195’ x 50’ pump dredger from Jacksonville to Cap Haitien, Haiti
-towed a 320' x 84' barge from Balboa, Panama to Halifax, Nova Scotia
-towed a 180 x 54 deck barge from Houma, LA to Cristobal, Panama
-towed 98' x 78' x 6' lift boat with spuds in place from Freeport, Bahamas to Galveston
