EvaA Mechanical Engineer eager for adventure, Eva Lund left her home country Venezuela as soon as she graduated from College in 2006.

She started her career overseas in the Netherland Antilles, working for an HVAC Dutch company as their “Service Department Engineer”. A few years later she moved to the US, making the island of Dutch Harbor (Alaska), her home for more than 6 years.

Since then Eva has worked on different areas of the Maritime Industry, such as logistic, transportation, ship repairs, diving and salvage, allowing her to gain experience on multiple aspects of operations during her time working for well known companies like Horizon Lines, Magone Marine Services and Resolve Marine Group.

During the last 5 years she has specialized in the HSE field, using her professional and technical skills, as well as her proficiency on multiple languages, to manage and direct all the safety and environmental aspects on projects in the US and overseas.

Before moving to New Orleans and joining the TradeWinds Towing family, Eva Lund was stationed for 7 months in Kirke Canal (Chilean Patagonia), living aboard the AHT Resolve Earl, and acting as the designated HSE Officer for Resolve Marine Group during the parbuckling, refloating & scuttling of the Ro-Ro AMADEO I.  She was the only woman on this remote site and awarded by the Chilean Maritime Authority for her “Outstanding Professional Management on the Prevention of Hazards & Zero Casualties” during the duration of the project.
